Candidate countries are located in the perifery of central Europe. This fact makes collaboration among schools very interesting, since it will be a meeting point among different ways of understanding our continent (Mediterranian, Nordic & Eastern).
Participation in inter-cultural communication will lead to:
- tolerance and respect towards other cultures,
- discrimination deprecation,
- development of new knowledge and mutually enriching cultural influences on
- improvement of language skills,
- development of active citizenship,
- new provoking relationships in different countries. For the students - improve the English language skills -enrich their general knowledge of the national characteristics of each participant country; -mastering IT skills such as creating and mantaining a blog, a website, uploading and downlowding materials; - forging an awareness of the cultural European diversity by communicating with peers through e-mails.. For the teachers - devising teaching resource materials that will be used throughout different subjects; -developing the cultural horizon regarding the culture of the partner countries and civilization ( customs and traditions For the schools - making some posters and panels that will be at hand for all the teachers and pupils in the partner schools, promoting cultural specificity of each country ; - promoting debates to exchange of opinions regarding the theme; - disseminating the results obtained in various stages of the projects within the teacher's council from the partner countries
